Name Steve Sciullo
College Marshall
College Position OT
NFL Position RT/OG
Height 6-6
Weight 325
Positives-The positives with Steve are strength, and size. These two area work hand in hand the fact that he has very good size gives him an advantage over most players in strength.
Negatives- The negatives with him are athletic ability, pad level, and mobility. The fact that Steve lacks mobility could force him to move inside to guard. I also think he needs to work on his pad level, because defenders can get under his pads and push him back. The last concern I have with this player is athletic ability. He will have no chance of keeping up with an athletic defensive end like Jevon Kearse.
What others are saying- TFY Draft
The Good:
Strong, powerful lineman best in confined quarters. Big, thick build, stays square keeping defenders in front of him and controls opponents at the point of attack, fighting with his hands. Plays with forward lean, anchors in pass protection and shows ability to shuffle and slide off the edge.
The Bad:
Not a natural knee bender nor a nifty lineman, gets rather tall and does more arm wrestling then leverage blocking.
The Skinny:
Solid lineman but we do not project him to the blind side at the next level nor do we see him as a first day choice.
Overall- Steve does not have the athletic ability to play LT in the NFL, and may in fact have a hard time at RT. He may be a solid offensive guard, but nothing special.
