Trent Findley CB Tennessee Martin 6-1 195

I have him ranked at 10 in CB's

In the month of July, I finished up my off-season workouts in good fashion.  This month was a good time for me.  I wasn't enrolled in any classes in this second semester, but instead of going home I stayed here in Martin to concentrate on preparing for the season.

Most days I woke up early in the morning and ate a good breakfast before going and spending some good time in the weight room.  In the afternoon I did my running and position drills with some of my teammates.  I feel like the time I've spent working out with them is going to pay off when we step onto the field this season.

On the 27th the guys who are here for summer school did our strength test.  I improved in just about every category.  My bench max was 330, power clean 275, and squat 425.  I feel pretty good about those and I'll continue to work on the weights throughout the season.  Right now I'm weighing about 199.

At the end of the month I attended a media day along with a few of my teammates and the coaching staff in nearby Milan, TN.  The coaching staff was introduced along with the players that attended and our head coach Sam McCorkle discussed the upcoming season in front of some of the media.

I headed home to visit with my family and friends once more on the 2nd of August for the weekend.  With the start of the season near I feel I am in the best shape ever heading into camp, which starts on August 7.  I am continuing to prepare myself mentally and physically for my last college football season, which I've been anxious to get started.
